Our Horses (and other furry friends)

Reina is an American Quarter Horse mare born in 2013. She is the daughter of the famous reining horse "Topsail Reinmaker". Reina loves kids and lots of attention! She is a great one to learn and practice groundwork on, since she has extensive training and will take good care of you as you learn the ropes of ground work.

Alchemy, or Aly for short, is an American Quarter Horse mare born in 2014. She is the lead mare and has a beautiful leadership style that is both kind and powerful. She chooses her human interaction carefully.  Therefore, she is a great horse to practice patience with. If you give her enough time, she will reward you with attention and affection.

Jazeera, or Jazzy for short, is a Quarab (half Arabian half American Quarter Horse) mare, born in 2005. She was an auction, turned dude ranch horse from Colorado. Jazzy loves to interact with people. She loves attention and will rub on you if you let her. Jazzy has a funny story. Back in 2019, she got out and went on a little "trip" by herself. She was gone for over 72 hours walking to Sunset Crater and back.

Golden Nugget is a minature horse that was abandond on property near the Grand Canyon and left to fend for herlself. When the new owners saw her they contacted us and we were excited to go get her. She is a true favortie with kids and adults a like. Nugget will make anyone's bad day into a happy one.

Daisy Duke is a spunky pony!  She is in her 20's though you will never guess. She is friendly, funny, and loves to go out on the trail, or run around in her pen. She was generously gifted to the program by Susan Cooper. Daisy Duke is a favorite amongst children and adults alike.

Our program is also home to a goat, pigs, chickens, and, most recently, a sweet new sheep! Our wonderful farm animals bring so much joy, laughter, and connection to everyone who spends time with them. They have truly become a special part of our program and are loved by all!
